No. It's a free market, and each estate agency is entitled to set its own prices for its services, and it should be prepared to negotiate its fees. Since 1993, it's been an offence for an estate agent to tell people that commissions are fixed or prescribed or regulated in any way.
The IEASA used to publish commission guidelines, but we discontinued them in 2004 because the Competition Commission considered them anti-competitive. There is therefore no longer any such thing as "an Institute tariff", or any other recognised tariff.
