IEASA National meetings 6 & 7 March
The IEASA executive committee is squaring up to adopt a very hard line on regions in default of subscription payments to the national body when it meets in Johannesburg with the RECC on March 8 and 9. Deputy president Bill Rawson, declining to identify the regions, said it was likely that Exco would stop the flow of benefits to those regions in default. In his view payment default to the national body ran contrary to members interests and he urged those defaulting "to get their act together." Also on the agenda is the discussion on "an exciting" new direction of training and educational requirements by the IEASA, which Rawson says will offer tremendous opportunities for real estate trainers and improved professionalism; continued red lining by the banls; and the transformation process within the industry.
